This toolkit is designed to help you plan and host a successful Wharton event. Use the steps outlined to guide your preparation in planning your event. Students should contact their student life office first for questions on planning an event on campus. Faculty and staff should reach out to Wharton Events with any questions on planning an event on campus.

Each step is designed to walk you through the many stages of planning an event; there are additional checklist and forms that accompany each step. Use the templates provided to guide you in your planning process.

New for Fall 2020: Virtual Events at Wharton: Resources Guide

The new Virtual Events Resource Guide consolidates Wharton’s offering and how-to guides for hosting a successful virtual event. Included best practices documents, technological how-to’s and current information on the recommended platforms available for students, staff and faculty.

Before committing to an event strategy, we recommend consulting with your Student Life Office (students) orĀ  Wharton Events and Wharton Computing (staff) for up-to-date information on new resources, tools and technology.

Remember to update the School calendar

Please enter your events in the MyWharton calendar to avoid scheduling conflicts and maximize cross-coordination opportunities
