Now that you’ve created your emails, here are some tips and tricks on how to segment (slice) your contact/ subscriber lists.

Segments:

Using the Marketing Toolkit, you will have the ability to choose multiple lists to send and exclude email campaigns to. You can also use Segments to slice your lists to find specific subscribers that may fit your needed criteria.

For example: You have sent an invitation to your subscribers, but you’d like to resend the invitation to subscribers who did not open your initial email. You can use  Segments to send the email to those specific subscribers.

Step 1: Click , then select your list.

Step 2: Click Segments

Step 3: On the Segments page, click Create a new segment

Create a Rule:

Step 4: Click the Define a rule based on menu to select a detail of your list.

Step 5: After you’ve selected a detail, you can apply a condition to it to create the rule.

Example Rule for Scenario: You have sent an invitation to your subscribers, but you’d like to resend the invitation to subscribers who did not open your initial email.
